I’m challenging myself on and off the course to help raise funds to support the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and the work they do to help the millions of Americans at risk for kidney disease, the 37 million Americans living with chronic kidney disease, and those who care for and about them.
And there are few people in this world as special as my good friend, Laura Malick Bren, whose family has been affected by kidney disease and has received multiple transplants. When choosing a charity for the race, I couldn't help but being immediately drawn to NKF because of how wonderful Laura and her family are, and the challenges they've faced due to kidney disease. Also furthering my connection to NKF, my grandpa, Harold Klazkin, suffered from kidney disease and was on dialysis for many years.
Every dollar counts, and I would be grateful for your support to help fight kidney disease!
